Need help with keeping my leg quiet!! Have any suggestions?

Noooooo stirrups. :) It's tough, but I'd say it's probably one of the best exercises for stability and to improve your riding in general. I make myself do it fairly often and I can feel the results.

What are your best tips for getting a cast horse back up?

Definitely a good idea! It was a scary time when the vet and I had to try to keep the horse quiet while the owner went running around looking for a hammer.

Sure I kiss my horse. The other day I gave him several kisses on the nose quickly and he immediatley took his nose and nuzzled on my arm with his lips. Sure felt like a kiss to me.

For people who use Montys' methods, love his horses, love his movies or books like Shy Boy or are just plainly fans. Enjoy!

About Me:
I'm an English rider living in Canada. I unfortunately don't have my own horse, but I use one of my riding instructor's horses for lessons and shows. (his picture is my display picture) His name is Treasure and he's the greatest horse ever! Together we are learning to improve on our flatwork and equitation, and we are both learning from scratch how to jump! We love to show on the Paint circuit and local shows.

yeah, I know the feeling. My Fjord loved sleeping in her poop, and during winter she had tons of fur and well needless to say I would spend hours every week washing it! hehe I found that just canceling certain types of people form ones friend list and putting everything on "approve comment" really made my site a better place I just don't have a need for rude comments for someone almost half my age. hehe
