Hey all :) I'm new(ish) here and reaching out. I adore my crazy Appendix chestnut boy. His name is Spot (he's got a hidden spot inside his left nostril) and we do jumpers when I'm not working on law school.
This is a group for all people who own or just love a chestnut horse or pony.

I think that hunter green goes best with a dark coloured chestnut.
These are all from a few years ago, i couldn't find any of my other more recent ones :P

- Hi all !!!
I'm Amber and I live in Australia, near Victor Harbor out on a 24 acre farm with lots of horses/ponies and dogs
I'm 14 years old, 167cm tall and light brown hair. I love showjumping, cross country, eventing, dressage and novelties
I love to do jumping on my horse "Curly" and get lessons at Lanyon Riding center : www.lanyonridingcentre.com

About my horses:
We have 2 horses
Curly
A 15 year young, 15.1 1/2 hh, chestnut, thoroughbred with 2 socks and a cute star on his head. He is a dream to ride, he jumps wickedly 105cm with me but he used to do 120cm showjumping. He is the cutest cuddliest horse you will met. He follows you around and you can ride him with no hands and jump with no hands !!! and it his birthday on the 12th of september
Zanna
A 8 year old, 15.1hh, bay, thoroughbred with a spot on her head Mum got her off the track when she was 4 and has been having lessons and going to riding club with her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gump(Past away)
A 13 year old, 15.3hh, bay, Australian Stock Horse cross Thoroughbred with 2 socks.
We got him as a horse for me but he was no good and lady let us keep him for free.
he has not been used much until lately, I have been riding him and he has a lovely canter
Joc (recently went back too his owner)
A 33 year old, 11hh, taffy, Welsh pony, who I used to ride, but he is retired now. he is still going very strong good weight and no bad joints
Sterling (Had to be put down
A 17 year old, 11hh, grey, welsh pony, who I ride bare back lots of the time and I teach my friends ride him too !

did you walk the x-country course!!, it looks sooo fun and scary!!!, did you see the water jump and the massive slope that goes down sooo far and soooo steep!!! i don't think it would be a easy course!!! but i am soo excited!!!, ricky didn't do to well in the dressage because he went on the wrong leg and pooped just before i saluted lol!!!!
