Missing my neck warmer and hug-a-bunny

Baileykins has been getting worse with arthritis for months now and this past week was the worst. She was no longer able to walk downstairs or get off the couch and I had to carry her back from her walks. She would scream when ever she turned to quick and limped and waddled like a penguin for quite some time. She was a white toy poodle and almost 11 years old. Hi Beverley- so glad you found the video useful! I think it makes it so much easier to see a visual, so with my blog each time, I'll try and post a video. I notice you have a bunch of photos on your page here. ....if you have some fitness areas you are wanting to focus on, why don't you submit a comment to my blog (Ride Fit 1-2-3 in the drop down menu) and some photos? People seem reluctant to do so..but I almost always hear from folks after someone has posted THEIRS, that they had the exact same questions....so think of it as a public service, plus you'll get free fitness recommendations.
By the way, if you're into core, I just launched a downloadable ebook (super cheap: 16.95$) called Complete Core Workout for Riders on my website: www.equifitt.com . Go to the resources page. You can also sign up on there to get free monthly fitness tips emailed to you.

There are horses that do not think the little fences are worth worrying about. Are you lungeing him over the jumps just in a cavesson, or are you using side reins too? Do you lunge over jumps with a saddle on? Do not use side reins (I am not saying…

Where did I state that medival dressage was humane and correct? I have stipulated that the SRS under Podhajsky presented dressage more correctly. I know who Kottas is and he is not a horseman! Podhajsky was a horseman and even General Patton was a h…

Hi Guys,One of the biggest mistakes riders make when we're trying to overcome horseback riding fears is that we direct our efforts toward the conscious mind. You know--willpower, iron-jawed determination. The problem with that strategy is that you c…
