I posted this video after having seen a video here where someone is explaining how to lounge a horse with sidereins, and in my opinion that is not nearly as good for the horse as getting it to collect without.…

Two weeks ago I had a student here that has only trained her horse from the video (same clips as here on Barnmice) and she hasn't had a single lesson with a teatcher.... She has trained by herself for two…
I gave my horse his first long reining lesson this week. What fun!!! He gets it!

I know what you mean about trainers being really hyped up. That is how I feel about Pat Parelli. He is good at what he does, too, but I am not terribly inspired by him, same as you with Hempfling. There are many similar trainers to Parelli that don't charge nearly as much for their videos and so on.
Do you mind if I ask who inspired you? I love to learn about training.
