Schoolmaster for Lease

I'm a junior rider looking for a schoolmaster to lease. Must be relatively close to Shrewsbury, PA. I've schooled up to second level - have never had the horse to go further. I am willing to work to ride or pay, depending on the price. This lease will most likely be from now until June, when I will be leaving for Germany to ride. If you, or someone you know has a horse to lease, please let me know. Email, erikasentz@comcast.net, works best.See More

When Ambition Meets Opportunity

My Ambition? Be the first American to win the Olympic Individual Dressage Gold Medal (and as a Junior Rider with no reason to believe otherwise, I feel I can at least achieve the Individual Dressage Gold Medal part of this goal.)And I think changing barns last December was the best move I could have ever made in my life. I was a working student for a local trainer, and when I went to the…See More

Profile Information

A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
I'm sixteen years old, and am a passionate Dressage rider. I've been riding for almost eight years and have done Western, Dressage, and Hunters. I have dreams of becoming the first American to win the Olympic Individual Dressage Gold Medal.

I own a 2001 Oldenburg mare by Routinier, who is for sale after injuring herself this past October. Hopefully I will have her sold by the end of the month!

In 2009 I was the highest scoring Junior on a Morgan Horse in America, as well as qualified for GAIG's at Training Level, and successfully showed Training/First Level (receiving my first score towards my Bronze!) in my first year of recognized competition. In 2008 I showed Training Level tests 3 and 4. Overall in the International Equestrian Organization (USDF GMO) I was 5th Overall in the Training Level Test 3 & 4 Open division, and Reserve Grand Champion in the Training Level YR Division, riding an Appendix QH named Johnny Angel, or John.

Hi Erika,
Great dream to win at the OLympics. I'm also dressage crazy. What kind of schedule would you have to have in order to be on the Olympic team?

Hi Erika, You may want to also ask your "heels down" question in the Eurodressage group. I have gotten some good advice there. p.s. I watched your video and your heels look like they are down enough for dressage. Does your coach say they need to be down more?Perhaps if you want them a bit steadier, you can shorten your stirrups a half-hole. Pretty horse!!
