A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
I am a dressage rider. I have been riding for about 10 years. I have a Lusitano gelding that is 6 years old and I started showing him last year. He is a good guy but at times can be a bit of a brat. I enjoy showing him as I never know what to expect. He never ceases to surprise me.

Some years back, I boarded at a lovely facility in Erin just outside Hillsburg. Erin has to have one of the prettiest country sides I have ever seen. The facility was quite lovely, large arena, huge stalls and great paddocks for turn out. It even had its own "diet paddock" which I found quite interesting. Never heard it quite like that. I don't know why it was classified as such.…

For the Spirit of the Horse

I am saddened once again, by the reports on the way our horses are being slaughtered in our Canadian plants. It brings me to tears to see these poor helpless animals being butchered and brutally killed. The only mistake that they have made in their lives is to be born, and not needed. Two plants have been shut and we must close the 4 remaining plants.

We have to keep lobbying our politicians, leaders, equine associations, YES, equine associations: Equine Canada, your provincial… Continue

Pavon has passed his sense of humor along to his get.  It is uncanny how their behavior mimics his even though he was not involved in raising them.  All are love bugs, too, wanting as much attention as they can get.  It makes training so much easier because they are eager to please and love rewards!

My friend has a Lusitano and he is beautiful. She competes in Dressage with him. He was imported from Brasil and was a Stallion for 8 years before being Gelded.

I read your info and apologize for not knowing he is a gelding.  We are in central Indiana, but Pavon was bred and born near Winipeg, Canada.  I'm so thrilled to have him and enjoy the wonderful foals he is producing.

What a wonderful horse!  Mare, gelding or stallion?  I love the personalities and dispositions of the Iberian horses.  Our 5 year old S/P mare is the official greeter at the farm.  She is so social to the point of being nosy, but so sweet.  She will be bred to Pavon this year.

Hi Mary-Joe, The I-Mat tiles are designed to replicate interlocking stone, specifically for use in washstalls and walkways such as barn aisles and outdoor walkway applications. These tiles insulate and provide a non-slip floor for your horse to safely walk on. These extremely durable tiles last for years and years.

As far as your stall goes, SoftStall is the choice to use for this application, to create a therapeutic bed, a non-slip, comfortable bed for your horse to lay on. A 10 x 12 stall goes for $700 per stall. You can email me directly for more information. Shipping and installation are not included.
