Boris - The growing years

Introduction:

Boris, 3yr old tb x id

Recently moved from Padstow to Leedstown Cornwall.

Had a week at my new yard and today, mum and dad had the vet out. I thought it was just a check up, next minute, jabbed in the neck and vet wrestling with my teeth!! Wolf teeth needed taking out, as if I have spares!.

Had a great sleep after and then back out into our field of lush grass.

Perfect for a young man like me.

We moved to Cornwall from Hampshire in 2004 when I retired from the Police. A great decision and as you say a great place to live, despite the tourists. I didn't much care for the rat race around London and Hampshire was becoming that way.
Chill out in Cornwall is my motto now!!!

Hi Jocelyn, I too just started Dressage recently, and I have to say, with a good horse and instructor, Dressage is a blast! So good choice. :) As others have said, we'd need to know what you're doing with your horse now, and past experience to give…

There are horses that do not think the little fences are worth worrying about. Are you lungeing him over the jumps just in a cavesson, or are you using side reins too? Do you lunge over jumps with a saddle on? Do not use side reins (I am not saying…
