To me color doesn't matter.I look at the horse its' self.Maybe I am crazy,as a friend once said....I wanted a horse of every breed,color and a thousand acres to ride in!Seriously,maybe raise your prices a bit and the right buyer will come along.…
I also love odd coloured horses. Most important to me though, is the horse's build, conformation, movement & then the colour. A good horse comes in all colours.
I actually prefer the colored horses! They stand out in the ring and they often have this very playful personality. My mare is currently on a breeding farm that specializes in breeding colored thoroughbreds.

I love color if the movement, conformation and mind are good as well.. this is a pic of my Oldenburg colt, Silent Sam, pictured here as a yearling. I am very happy with the way he's turning out.

- I am an equine alternative therapist,currently practising massage therapy, myofascial release, acupressure and Reiki for human and animals...I am also studying iridology for humans and animals, EMRT or Bowen for horses,
and NLP-Neuro Linguistic Programming for riders which is very beneficial for confidence and dealing with issues of any sort as well as fears.I ride dressage, but also have a 2 year old daughter(who loves horses, luckily!) but doesn't allow for as much time riding as I'd like!

I began trimming myself by following the website and email instructions from Marjorie Smith http://www.barefoothorse.com lots of links there now to good sites and Peter Rameys articles etc. I also did an online course with Gwen Santagate http://www.barefoottrim.com and http://www.horsecourses.net/ see also http://www.thepenzancehorse.com/
These days I am careful not to cause my arthritis to flare and my farrier comes to check my maintenance every 5 weeks, so I just do a little.
Fascinating subject and it makes the owner so much more responsible and aware, rather than simply delegating this important aspect to the farrier.

I think it is wonderful that people are finally awakening to the possibilities of listening to the horse and allowing the horse to have opinions and become a full partner, rather than a dominated slave.
