I LOVE odd color horses. I like the ones that have the colors or the design that is unique. I don't want a horse that is like everyone elses. I want something that is one of a kind. For some people it may be ugly, but I would be the one to buy that…

I don't care what color a horse is. I go by the motos "a good horse is a good horse no matter breed, size, sex, or color" and "you ride the horse not the color." Sadly some colors are stuck with a stereotype. Like paints, apps, roans, buckskins, gru…

Hi, May: I couldn't agree more. Colour, sex, and height are the least important factors when looking at horses. After judging for 8 - 12 hours per day I usually couldn't tell you the sex of most of the horses I've seen that day, and the stand-outs…

Hi, To me color doesn't matter.I look at the horse its' self.Maybe I am crazy,as a friend once said....I wanted a horse of every breed, color and a thousand acres to ride in!Seriously, maybe raise your prices a bit and the right buyer will come along.…

I also love odd coloured horses. Most important to me though, is the horse's build, conformation, movement & then the colour. A good horse comes in all colours.

I actually prefer the colored horses! They stand out in the ring and they often have this very playful personality. My mare is currently on a breeding farm that specializes in breeding colored thoroughbreds. Beautiful horses with great manners and…

I love color if the movement, conformation and mind are good as well.. this is a pic of my Oldenburg colt, Silent Sam, pictured here as a yearling. I am very happy with the way he's turning out. [IMG]http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e298/fita_isol

I looked into barefoot on my vet's recommendation early 2001 for a pony with laminitis. I began trimming myself by following the website and email instructions from Marjorie Smith http://www.barefoothorse.com lots of links there now to good sites and Peter Rameys articles etc. I also did an online course with Gwen Santagate http://www.barefoottrim.com and http://www.horsecourses.net/ see also http://www.thepenzancehorse.com/
These days I am careful not to cause my arthritis to flare and my farrier comes to check my maintenance every 5 weeks, so I just do a little.
Fascinating subject and it makes the owner so much more responsible and aware, rather than simply delegating this important aspect to the farrier.
Other places with photo, video and article help http://www.swedishhoofschool.com/

Hi Jenal, pleased to see you offer Reiki and have that open mind for searching the best alternatives for your horses and human family.
I have just spent way too long reading Eileen's training diary on the AND website because she is a Reiki Master. If you have time I think you would love comparing your experiences. http://www.artofnaturaldressage.com
I think it is wonderful that people are finally awakening to the possibilities of listening to the horse and allowing the horse to have opinions and become a full partner, rather than a dominated slave.
Nice horses in the photo's, not much time to join in fully with this site at present, but I would like to read more of your work.
Thanks for the friend invite. Susie xx

Glad you love him so much. Makes my heart fill so good. I am glad I have a chance to let other people see him on this site because I am usually the only one who gets to enjoy him. Thank you again.

Actually, that is me and my girl, Lady, at a schooling show. First place in Western pleasure equitation! We won second in team penning at the Houston Rodeo in the #3 Draw! Since Houston is my hometown, it was quite a thrill--Lady got a new headstall and I got $291!!!!!!!

Where did I state that medival dressage was humane and correct? I have stipulated that the SRS under Podhajsky presented dressage more correctly. I know who Kottas is and he is not a horseman! Podhajsky was a horseman and even General Patton was a h…
