Stuck in the Muck?

Woke up at 12:10 am this Christmas Eve with an image in my head that needed to be transcribed.  Of course it was applying to the snails pace so many of us take when schooling our horses.  But it does apply to life in general. Have a wondrous Holiday Eve and Holiday tomorrow.  Here it is.

You Stuck in the Muck?

Goal:

Break through the barrier that inhibits performance acceleration.

The True Christmas Spirit?

Giving from the Spirit Within

We as the human species are the most self-centered, self-righteous, and greediest of the living species upon the Earth. If we are of one Spirit, then why do we have so many religions and doctrines within those religions that void the Spirit Within each of us?

It is simply because mankind must feel superior to all that surrounds him or her. We dominate in many ways, such as physically and emotionally, however the worst way in which we…

Not good for dressage at any level

Sonoma County DA did file felony animal abuse charge against Gwen Stockebrand. Case number DAR 645-213 She is to appear in court on December 28, 2011

Stockebrand charged with animal cruelty.

This is a sad state of affair.   However, on the other hand it brings to light things that have been kept in the dark too long.

BLM abuse of wild horses.

Read an article on just how much abuse the BLM will inflict and/or allow to be inflicted upon the wild horses and burros.  I would hope that horse owners would copy this email and send a personal note to:

I sent certain BLM staff members in Reno, Wash. D.C.  directly to their emails, an email that should provide them with a wake up call:  alueders@blm.gov   d80arnol@blm.gov  …

Come to the defense of the Western Pleasure horses

Hello

Mrs. Carol Harris who owned the world famous Quarter Horse Rugged Lark as joined forces with our crusade to force the American Quarter Horse Association to stop the sanctioned abuse of the horses.

I have filed a criminal complaint with the Texas Attorney General Office against AQHA for deceptive trade practices that sanction the abuse of the competitive horse.

We are currently trying to get Oklahoma City television media to expose this national disgrace.  Please…

Bitless competitions in the U.S. and under FEI

Most interesting fact as arisen since I posted about potential bitless competitors.

Seems back in 99 over 2,300 people signed a petition for bitless competition, and yet now I cannot get people to write an affidavit that they want to compete bitless here in the United States.  An affidavit is a legal document used in a court of law.

What is the reason?  The request I placed on the Internet is not about my position, it is…

From "Rath Controls the Ring"

http://www.eurodressage.com/equestri...11-cdio-aachen

The two images that caught my eye were, first... Rath and Totilas and second... Peters and Ravel.

Take a close look at them......Rath is hard on the snaffle and the curb, while Peters rein contact is less.

However, their heads are nearly in the same place......

Rein connections…

Why the resistance to correct riding?

This opinion does not apply to alot of great horse people out there, rather it is aimed at the competitive aspect of the horse world.

Wow,

seems so many horse people are offended by my position that no matter the competitive venue you ride, the rider should be meeting the requirements set forth in the rules.  On another forum a poster asked the difference between modern and classical dressage.  I posted my opinions and was visiously attacked by those who choose to not conform…
