Horse show SUCCESS! :D

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd let you know how the horse show went. We woke up bright and early to see lots of rain :( This unfortunately made getting him on the trailer a little harder. BUT thankfully he went on after about 45 minutes. We were a little behind schedule when we got there, but with the help of friends and family, everything went smoothly. I entered nine differant classes. An english turnout class which we placed first, a walk trot (for green horse) which we placed second, an english eq. which we placed 6th, an english pleasure which we placed 5th, a crossrails class which we placed second, a hunter over fences class and we placed third, and three gaming classes. I placed 5th in one of them, but we are VERY new to gaming so we just wanted to give it a go and see how we did.

When I got there, I wasn't even planning on doing any jumping.. I didn't know if Comet would be ready, but at the last minute I signed him up for both classes just to try it.. I was going to trot the course until I was informed that I would lose points, so when I got into the arena, I cantered it! He didn't break once, he picked up all his leads and did AMAZING... second and third! And the best thing is... I have never cantered a course before! :)

Had so much fun, all the hard work was worth it!
