Here are some more great websites to check out until the show!
Equine Guelph is the centre on Ontario’s Equine Industry, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of horses. It’s focus is on five interrelated areas: research, education and training, performance, healthcare and industry development. We are very excited to have Ecker and Susan Raymond as presenters at the Expo.
David Carson is well known to most horse people from this area, and his website is full of information on upcoming sales, horses for sale, and the new Draft Horse Futurity Promotion. The purpose of this new program is to demonstrate the characteristics and versatility of the draft horse breeds.
Nick Coukos is coming to us from Ajax Downs, the heart of Quarter Horse racing in Ontario. The website is loaded with information about Quarter Horse racing, and even has a live broadcast on race days!
Susanne Friedl will speaking about the CO2 Composting System she has put in place on her farm, Amani Acres.
Ryan Gingerich has a great website, which includes his articles, his Connection Club, his Get Help! Behaviour zone, and even a live chat.
Dr. Sid Gustafson’s website is action packed with articles, stories, YouTube videos, twitter updates, and much more. You better plan on sparing more than a few minutes for this site!
David Heffering is coming to us from Tara Hills, one of Canada’s premier Standardbred stud farms. He will be teaming up with Ted Smith, Retiring President of Standardbred Canada, and together these Standardbred industry leaders will lead a scrum session for trainers and owners.
