<p>Well, little guy is going to change facilities. There are no other options at that place, and the nail in the coffin was that the dominant in that field who put him through the fence, is going to get hind shoes. I don't put my mature kids out with horses with hind shoes.</p>

<p>So now, we look for a new place. He's such a sweet thing, I've been taking him grazing and he's so well behaved. And, as sometimes happens in the horse world, I wandered into the right place at the right…</p>

Well, she knows a great place for him, gave me the number, and told me to mention her. So, I've left a message, we'll keep our fingers crossed.</p>

At one time of my life I had to change stables a few times. With each pasture I would lead my horse around the fence line, pointing out corners and any odd places in the fence. While not quite as good as intro over the fence for a few weeks none of my horses got trapped and beaten up, they knew where the traps were! They also respected the fence more.
