Jochen,

I really enjoyed this post and appreciate it. I just purchase a new mare and have been entertaining the purchase of a new Schleese for her.
I really enjoyed this post and appreciate it. I just purchase a new mare and have been entertaining the purchase of a new Schleese for her. I was hopeful that she would be able to share my other geldings saddle for a little while but they are just built to differently. In trying to be economical I have been looking at use Schleese's, comparing to new. In my mind I had been concerned about the possibility of a used saddle being refitted and wondering if the end result would be just right for her (as my Derby is for my other horse). I think I will save my pennies just a little longer so that I can be certain she has the benefit and comfort of a saddle made exactly for her. This way it will be just the right fit for me too! I have my eye on the Link II. After all, we expect allot from our horses, I wouldn't want to dance with a sore back and blisters! :)
