Hello, I just received your e-mail. I thought I put my add for the saddle under free classifieds. I might have done it wrong. It was a bit confusing as to where I should put it. Can you let me know. Sorry about that.

Happy New Year

I would love to be of any help that I can! I hope your FL vacation is everything you want it to be. :-) The weather has been pretty fantastic. What city are you visiting, if you don't mind my asking? BTW, I meant to tell you I LOVE this networking website! And the name is just TOO CUTE!! I will have to send the link to invite all my friends, but it will take me some time to sit down and scare them all up from my contact lists. Thanks for all your good work, I only know a little bit what it takes to run even a mostly static website--I can't imagine how intensive this must be! TTFN!

Hi! Thank you very much for your kind words. I would love to discuss any topic you wish....as for the stories about me, LOL, I am not so good at just spinning off the top of my head, but if you want to ask about something, I LOVE to talk horses and dressage (even my own adventures).

Thank you ...I think so too. . He is thoroughbred,(Nasrullah)(bred to race) although he does not look or act like one. . He was top 3yr. old thoroughbred at the Royal Winter Fair 1995.

Thanks for the welcome. MSN gave notice early in Nov. that they are closing theri group service and groups were suggested to move to their affiliate: Multiply (which is a pain). They didn't give a real reason, but they are supposed to be launching something called: Groups Live, which sounds like a pain also. Our TBAH group has 610 members and I'm scrambling to find a new home for them. I'm not sure barnmice will work as we need a lot of categories and something simple to use. Any tips, advice would be more than welcome! Thanks!

Hi,
the main difference is the horses idea of speed. The Wletmeyer is a dream to ride in éxtended pacess. Especially in trot you can have the feeling of flying on the diagonal just by allowing him to throw his power and joy of moving into action. -and should you want to try speeding over a large empty field - vow - the spanish horse will not keep up with him. Of course that makes it a little difficult in collection, but like most Weltmeyers, the trot is jaut a dream, the walk wide and brilliant if you can keep him cool enough, and in canter you will face difficulties to controll his wide paces and his high exitement potential - (ask anybody who saw Weltall with martin schaudt) - I'm not riding at his level but the problem is just he same.
The Spanish horse is much less gifted with wide paces. He loves collection, but to get him moving to extensions is hard motivational work. In fact he can be so comfortable in his collected paces that the rider will sit, relax and enjoy, not noticing that he is somewhat only pretending to work. He is very sensible. You need no strength to ride him, in fact exercising pressure by physical strenghth will only get him confused and make him fight if he cannot figure out what you want. If he udnerstands, he will will gently do what you demand unless you demand real hard work like extended trot, half passes in canter, pirouttes etc. He loves passage, so whenever you try something in trot that he doesn't (want to) understand immediately, he will offer his best trick, passage.
Both horses compete at the same level like L/M in Germany. If the environment is quiet and the judges have high expectations, the weltmeyer will score with his exceptional paces. If the envrionment is noisy, wind shaking the roof and horses get confused, making mistakes, my Spanish juwel will beat them with his coolness and easy control.
Should someone ver invent a test on what is the easiest and most comfortable horse to ride, no weltmeyer will beat my spanish friend.
