Hey Kathy, I hear that the trip East was a great one, good weather, good trail ride, I have always wanted to sea eastern Canada from the saddle. Some time if I am lucky. I do have a few little camping excursions planned though, looking forward to those. Did you get your hours moved?

Hi Cathy... Well have a good time!!. I haven't been out east since I came home from HMCS Cornwallis CFB. The Zoula's and I are of different opinions of horse care!!. We only talk on occasion when we are at the barn. The careless smoking in the barn plays on me a GREAT DEAL!!.I don't spend much time there now!!.

Yes no doubt it will be a while before it dries up some. I went through it as well about a week ago, before the last few rains and it was bad then, so I can imagine that it will be no better now. And guess what, it is supposed to rain again this week. Isn't that just swell, The mosquitoes will be happy. lol

Good morning Cathy, I live on the Brook Line (just before Eberts)about half way down between the CSR and Caladonia. The next time you are going through Eberts stop in. I cannot promise that I will be home, this past weekk seems that I was never home, I am hoping that May will not be near as hectic as April was. But one way of looking at it, It rained most of the week so what better time to run around and get errands done. I am hoping that today is a bit dryer and warmer than the last few. Is that asking for too much. ?? lol

Yep saw the horses and stable and trailers and house that back up to the place with the greenhouses. It is funny how horses can get along if they have to. lol

Veggie Market..? you mean where the old school house used to be? They tore it down years ago, and it was a veggie market for years before they tore it down.

Hi Cathy! I never dreamt that I would actually own a Gypsy Vanner, let alone four! I fell in love with a photo of the Gypsy King 6 years ago and was lucky enough to meet his owner. One of my mares is a Gypsy King daughter, the other is a Lion King daughter from the UK. I also have a yearling colt and a filly. They are an amazing breed - beautiful and full of personality.
I have always loved the flashy look of Paints. But draft horses are my favorite because of their gentleness. I was over 40 before I ever rode a horse.....I need a horse that is gentle and kind!

If your horse is in Tupperville, then you are right I am just down the road (Centre Side Road) from Tupperville, I live just ouside of Eberts off of the Centre Side Road.
I got both of my mail trail horses saddled and ridden yesterday. Surprisingly they both very well behaved after being left on their own for 6 months. I was sure that the youngster would give me a little trouble. He was anxious to go but no problems. We did not go far just up and down the lanway a few times each. I will try and get one of them out today and get down the road and up some lanes if it is not too muddy.

OOOOps sorry I wreote the same message to you on one of the other forums, probaby the over 40 group. lol but yes we seem to be nieghbors for sure. Do you do much riding at the Misery. I went through there yesterday on the road and it sure looks swampy, which is not surprising with all the rain we have had lately,. I can't wait for the good weather to get here on a full time basis and get into the serious riding. I think that most of the people that I usually ride with here and there have decided to stay in Ontario and do our riding here for a change. The economy is so scarey right now. I will however go to Tn in the fall to the same ride that I always go one, there are some things that we feel that we cannot give up.
