Wow, Brenda your arena looks great. All takes so much time dosen't it. The baby is beautiful. 55 degree weather wow, love your climate. We're in the teens now 10-14 and going down. The odd 2 or -2 during the night but old man winter is just around the corner. No snow yet!!!! Lots of rain this fall.
Hello Darlene,
Don't know if you will remember my comments from months back, well I did get that arena finished, built three new stalls in the horse barn and HAD A BABY, not me, my mare.
Yeah and we put up fencing after I painted 40 posts, got anther 100+ to do.
I'm tired, but going out to ride in this new arena.
Remember we discussed how LONG some projects take to complete. It really was about getting my husband on board, now there is almost no limit.
He bought us a 4 horse-with weekender pkg and a Ford pu to pull it with. I'm still shocking...but I can handle it- really!
see my new photos on my homepage, I've been looking at your horses while sending you this note.
We have 55 degrees here today in Indianapolis, do you have any snow yet??
I am so happy for the warmer weather this month, I've got some painting to complete in my arena too, see the red and yellow on the stirrup guards, Very PRE .
Hello,
Thought it would be fun to hear about what your are building for your horses-I'm going to look up Scotch Village to see where you are located. I have been working on my place for 8 + years. I wonder if I'll ever be done with it.
Have you been riding dressage long? I'm enjoying the second year of lessons but the first year of using my own horses for the classes.
Been working too many hours lately, mortgages, can't find enough time for my horses. Happy to have longer days and will be riding this weekend.
Hope you have time to comment.
Hi Darlene, I DO remember you !!!!! I'm just surprised you remembered me !!! Love the big bay... mine is a Percheron X Morgan....she's good, trys hard and is at second level now.

Well...it all depends on what you want to do with the horse. Show it lower level at local shows? 3rd or 4th level at regional shows? FEI level at national shows?
