A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): Senior rider - adopted a Standardbred horse 10 years ago.
Ride once, twice a week if possible. Love the quiet, calm "thinking" breed. Passionate about horses - do volunteer work with the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.

I purchased a yearling gelding Aug 2007, 1/4 horse/draft cross and some think he may have some standardbred. He is such a calm relaxed boy, not riding him yet, as he was in poor health when I got him and just doing lots of groundwork. He's 3 now but I am not riding him yet, maybe soon, maybe another year, lots of time.
