In this segment we are moving on to lunging. Again watch how little my feet move. Energy is still positive. When we ask we ask 4 times, nice, tell, insist and then make it happen.

Part two of the series. They are of a mare that is pushy, over reactive and just plain miserable to be around. Videos span a three day period where we worked the mare two hours, give or take , each day.
See the difference, in the beginning she is walking all over Gord. She does not pay attention, can't stand still ect ... In the end she stands still, stays out of personal space, pays attention. We ask more of her and she is calm and willing.
When watching the video, pay attention to Gord's feet, and how little they move. Second watch his energy, regardless of what the horse does his energy stays the same.
When training, do not go out there with the attitude it is work, be upbeat, have fun, you will go farther, faster. Never be aggressive, will just make the horse with draw into fear mode, or bring out aggression. Remember our job is to explain to the horse what we want in a fashion so they understand, it is not to force them.
