It is easy to get into the walk, take a deep breathe and relax, but in reality the walk needs to be ridden every step of the way, carefully, just like every other movement in dressage. In this video, Olympic Team Coach, Robert Dover talks about what the collected walk should feel like when you are correctly riding your horse forward and through, onto the bit.
