World Horse Welfare Forum - Question 1 - Overbreeding

Over-breeding is often cited as a significant cause of horse welfare problems in the UK. Do the panel think that controls have to be left to ‘market forces’ or should there be some practical controls put in place for the horse breeding industry?

If people can't sell their foals, ya think they would stop breeding them. Yipers. If you can sell them to good homes, then breeding is okay. JMHO.
