Hi All,

A number of people mentioned that they would like more tips.

In response, we have added dropdowns in our blog and video tabs at the top of our site, as well as two new dropdowns - Horse Care and Lifestyle.  All of our dropdowns will take you to great videos and articles on a broad range of topics. Enjoy!

1. Which areas of Barnmice are your favorites?  Is there an area that you rarely visit?

Not sure, haven't had the time to look around enough.

2. How often do you read the news headlines on Barnmice and do you read them from our International News in our right column or in our news scroll running along the bottom of our community? What types of news items do you tend to click on to open and read further?

I like the news articles, especially news pertaining to Dressage.

3. How often do you add content to the community? Is there something we can offer that might inspire you to add content more often?

Rarely.  Still finding where I "fit in".

4. What features would you like to see added to Barnmice? What would you like to see more of?

Notifications of new group threads so you know where to go to chat.

5. Do you share Barnmice content via Facebook? Twitter? Emails to friends?

Facebook.  Don't do twitter.

1. 50 an 60 riders groups are my favourite to visit. All the others.

2. Rarely read the news headlines, when I do I tend to click on those which apply to morgan horses, western lifestyle, training tips and aids

3. Once a month on average, not a lot of time these days to do anything else.  Nothing you can offer except maybe better time management.

4. Hey just discovered the chat feature that is awesome, now to get those trainers on here to chat with them in  real time.  That's if you can pull them out of the trainer's pen or instructor's podium. :-))

5. I've emailed friends about Barnmice and word of mouth, also on Facebook. I don't Twitter, rather be riding.

I'm new so I'm still learning all of what's available. So far my favourite areas are some of the blogs by professionals and my own wall. I also like the news.

2. How often do you read the news headlines on Barnmice and do you read them from our International News in our right column or in our news scroll running along the bottom of our community? What types of news items do you tend to click on to open and read further?

I read them from the scroll on the bottom and also from my e-mail because I subscribed to the news group. I most often tend to click on one that have to do with stuff like the Donkey Sanctuary because I really love helping donkey charities. Also stuff about horse shows.

3. How often do you add content to the community? Is there something we can offer that might inspire you to add content more often?

I try to come on at least once a week to my wall right now, but am getting to see more stuff. I still have to see what all is here.

4. What features would you like to see added to Barnmice? What would you like to see more of?

I like the news articles. I noticed that several of the groups don't have much activity though. It would be nice if there was a way to see which groups are actually still active or not.

5. Do you share Barnmice content via Facebook? Twitter? Emails to friends?

Yes, I do. Mostly to Facebook and Twitter.

My favorite areas of Barnmice is the Contest Corner!! They are so fun! 
The area that I visit the least would be the Forums and Advertisements.

I rarely read articles-- I usually only read headlines if they catch my eye ... which can either be in the International News or just the news scrolling on the bottom. 

3. How often do you add content to the community? Is there something we can offer that might inspire you to add content more often?

I don't add content that much. Actually quite infrequently. I generally just look at other people's interesting content, like pictures. I think that the way the website is now is pretty good. Perhaps if there were more contests or interactive things, like this survey, I would visit the website more often.

4. What features would you like to see added to Barnmice? What would you like to see more of? I definitely love reading things up on top riders (and horses) of all decades and nationalities. More articles, or information of things like that would be a nice addition!

5. Do you share Barnmice content via Facebook? Twitter? Emails to friends? Yes, if I see something that I really like, like a great picture or an interesting article, I will post it on my Facebook.

The contests!!!!!  Love them.

What types of news items do you tend to click on to open and read further?   Once a week I read items.  I do check out the Int'l news (right column), they tend to be ahead of the curve in many areas.  Items I look at really varies, anything on dressage training, young horse items, outbreaks/alerts, and product recommendations and farrier & supplements.

 

3. How often do you add content to the community? Is there something we can offer that might inspire you to add content more often?  Not very often, I really just need to get myself more engaged.  Spring is in the air so that could be why.  :-)

4. What features would you like to see added to Barnmice? What would you like to see more of?   I'd love for us to get info from top trainers and grooms (i.e., training and grooming tips.)

I love the Captions, videos and the foaling camera.

I don't do Feedback.

Sometimes. If there is a headline that interests me. I read from right of screen.

I usually just add captions.

Not sure, maybe some Riding Club results or news.

No.

Just keep doing what you are doing coz you do it so good.

1. Definitely enjoy reading the blogs and news; reviews are great.

2. Whatever is up when I come to the page as far as news...like to hear what is going on in the equine world, whether that be health, training, competitions. 

3. I really don't add to anything to the content...being at school takes up most of my time. And if I do have any spare time I'm at the barn!

4. I like to see that barnmice expands beyond the "popular" news...I love seeing news regarding local rescues such as the Donkey Sanctuary (which is fantastic, people should check it out!)

5. I don't really share via the internet; more or less I'll just talk about something I read with a co-worker or whoever happens to be listening.

I enjoy reading the blogs and watching videos but I'm bad about getting on the forum. 

2. How often do you read the news headlines on Barnmice and do you read them from our International News in our right column or in our news scroll running along the bottom of our community? What types of news items do you tend to click on to open and read further?

I like the headlines! They catch my eye and get me to read something I normally wouldn't know was there. I click on an array of things from horse and human health to rulings in a certain organization.

3. How often do you add content to the community? Is there something we can offer that might inspire you to add content more often?

I add content when I feel I actually have something worth while to add. Often I'm too busy with school to get on everyday but if something is in my expertise I like to share my knowledge.

4. What features would you like to see added to Barnmice? What would you like to see more of?

Um, the internet machine is well above my understanding so when things are added I assume it is by magic! So make more magic if you can, however I am pleased now

Sometimes I do! It's a good way for my mom and I to keep in horsey touch while I'm 1400 miles away at school and I'll probably use it to send videos once Kiss moves out here.
