De-worming help!

I am considering moving on from leasing into buy my own horse. I am trying to calculate the price of feed, vet bills ect. I was wondering how many times a year is recommended to de-worm your horse. Thank you so much!!!! :D

Comment by Marlene Thoms on April 20, 2014 at 11:25pm: Some wormers last about 11 weeks, some a little less more like 8 weeks, and different wormers aim at different pests. I think they run about $20-25 per dose.
