HEllo Geoffrey,
I was reading about your horse's tripping, and as a body worker, I also do barefoot trimming on my horses, but tripping can be caused through misalignment of the withers vertebra, which can cause a nerve pinch that partially paralyzes, or makes numb, the corresponding muscles that operate the front legs. The horse feels that he cannot control his muscles properly, and this can be fixed by a good chiropractic treatment. Wish I lived closer, but I may be coming on tour to Southern Australia later this year, it's not sure yet but you never know. Check my site for more info and good luck! cheers, Ann.
i was leasing him for almost 2 years since i moved up to school in september i brought it with me, his owners sister lives up here and when i went home for christmas his owner decided to move him to a farm closer to her sister without giving me notice i pretty much found out the day he moved barns that i wouldnt be riding him unless i drove 45 mins(in good weather ,which there isnt up here) and this isnt practicle for me considering i go to school full time..... i miss him very much and now im in the middle of no where with no horse and to much time to think about it
