If there is one thing I've learned from watching the cams, it is the attention paid to each birth by these breeders! Wow, I shudder to think what could happen without their vigilance. Very impressive jobs, indeed! And that new filly hasn't missed a beat. What does she know of difficult presentations?  LOL Nice job (again)  Ladies.

Congratulations on a hard fought success!   Filly is active and beautiful.  Best of luck and positive thoughts for the remaining mares and their babes.

Watched with suspence last night and when cameras went off, my heart almost stoped...so worried that this little filly wasn't going to make it. Fantastic job ladies and Sugar Babe....she is beautiful.

Oh my! Another lovely filly! It's certainly the year for Girls !! Congratulations yet again!

Well done ladies & your vet (Is that a he or she?), another crisis averted. You all deserve a long relaxing holiday when the birthing season is over!!! Hope you are able to take the time out.

congrats yet again, Heather and Shannon. It never ceases to amaze me how superbly you all do under difficult circumstances!!!!

This little one seems like a real explorer.

Dear Heather and Shannon. I haven't been on in a few days because of foot surgery so just learned about the loss of Temptation's colt. I am so sorry for this tragic death. You two work so hard at making the mini's deliveries as safe as possible but it always isn't possible no matter what precautions you take. I am glad Sugar Babe delivered a healthy filly. Try to get some rest before the next delievery. How many more are pregnant?

I love lucky charms! or some version of that.  Great idea for St. Pat's, belatedly. Thanks so much Heather and Shannon for providing these "how to" lessons in foaling.  It must be draining for you, but I for one am very appreciative.

Sugar Babe presented one foot and a forehead....good grief we've had our share of bad positions.  We had our vet on the line as she was watching from the time that Sugar Babe started getting up and down.  She told us what to do, but we had no luck.

She told us to get the mare up and walking and she was on her way.  Once Sugar Babe was up Shannon tried one more time to get the head up and she got it - then she grabbed the trwo front feet and delivered a beautiful filly.

She has pooped and nursed and we are in the house hoping for some sleep.

We will announce her name as soon as we agree on one
