HI! I'm new to Barnmice and this group!!  I have 4 thoroughbreds(ages 12-31) and I have an appaloosa!  Three of the four TBs are off the track, including the 31 year old.  I ride mostly dressage these days and pleasure ride.  I have foxhunted and evented(low level).  My 31 year old, Chocolate, has done all of it.  I don't think he raced all that well but he's been a great all around horse for me.

I'll bet he does! I like to add apple cider vinegar to my chicken and goat waterers, but I haven't tried it with the horses yet. I imagine they'd like it. Frankly, anything that keeps them drinking in this heat is good stuff in my book.

He really loves apple juice in his water, can't get enough.

I've found some of them like the beer and some of them just don't. I had one who would grasp the can in his teeth and drink.

My thoroughbred "Jett Blue" had his 11th birthday yesterday so I decided to celebrate and buy him a beer. He thought I was posioning him and wouldn't touch it even though I have always been told that horses love it. Maybe I'll try a Guinness next time....

I was wondering if anyone knows about a stallion by the name of Line In The Sand from Farnsforth Farms in Florida?
