Guess I soke too soon. Some of Mom's cleaning methods are a tad rough.

Congratulations on the beauttiful foal. I missed the gender somehow. Pearl sure didn't make much of a fuss. business as usual when I looke in on her this morning and then when I looked again the only hint was she was stying inside until she lay down. What a doting mother she is. Looking for her foal before it was even born. And she didn't even wait until tightime to have it.Again congratualtionsto all!

Oh ok, I see. Well I do hope the pups make a full recovery and start getting well and fatter.

cams were off yesterday while I took the pups to the vet with me - I work there on wednesdays.  They needed some fluids which was horrible to have happen, but they all responded so well.  Four of the six had to have sub q fluids (under the skin)   The female (red collar) and the blue collar male are the most worrisome at this point.

We will try to have them out for feedings but they get so tired when it's only one of me feeding them that the last pup often won't eat, which was the case this morning with the female.  We will work on that.  She received some nutrical and will be first to eat next round.

Current weights

  • Girl (red) 1# 2.4 ounces
  • Forrest (green) 1# 4.2 ounces
  • Boy (black) 1# 5.4 ounces
  • Jag (black boy) 1# 3.6 ounces
  • Boy (drk blue) 1# 1 ounce  (same as yesterday morning but down .6 oz from last evening
  • Denim (light blue) 1# 4.4 ounces
