Then it must have been Ace. She was white, and was jsut trying to be friendly. After the erruptions on the other side of ther fence she just slowly turned around and left totally unimpressed. It was almost funny.

I don't know who was more surprised at Be's behavior. Kitty or I. I had never seen a mare or a gelding behave like this before. They tend to like to kick or bite. I guess I learned something . A mare can do this too. Even a very pregnant mare. It does look a bit unladylike though.

Actually we have moved the girls around and yes Be is super crotchety. I hope she's carrying a filly because she is totally different.

The mares and foals are around the barn (cam 2) and the pregnant mares are behind the barn so that's who Be is sparring with.

She is still on the warpath but Miss Kitty wiseley removed herself from reach.

Is Be ever crotchety this morning. She just went to the outside gate where she could see Miss Kitty(?) looking across the fence laid her ears back and went up on her hind legs like a stallion and tried to attack her through the bars several times.

Is that Raven on the other cam next to Be?

Be must be showing her displeasure with the weather I guess. For about 1/2 a minute there she was going balistic and now she is eating hay as though nothing happened.

Be is gettinbg pretty antsy. Ramming the fence with her back side, tossing her head and almost running and pawing.
