Hi Paula, I saw you show at Palgrave. Are you training with Jon Costin? He is such a sweetie! Next time I see you I will introduce myself or you can stop by for a coffee on your way to train.
Hi Paula....thanks for the message. :) Definitely give the brat boy a hug for me!
I really would love to come down and get some shots of him this summer...you'll have to let me know when we can schedule something. I'd love to see him go over fences!
Paula, just wanted to let you know that Rebecca has joined Barnmice...you can find her as Draygonfyne. Hope you and your horse are still weathering the cold!!! I am moving my horse to another farm end of this month, he will get his old stall back and I am so relieved to be 'going home'. Can't tell you the load off my shoulders.
oh...where in Ontario are you? Your boy should get used to the snow and cold by March (then it will be all over) I put a -30 rug on mine this year as I did an almost full body clip on him. :-) he sweats a lot.
Hi Paula, thank you for your kind comments. Next time I speak to Rebecca I will indeed say hello for you. I have her email addy on another email book I can send it if you like. You are a lucky girl, to train in Europe...wow, those were the dreams of my youth...unfortunately mortgages, and a troop of kids happened along in my life, but I have no regrets. I get out to shows as a spectator although I would love to hunt this year, so I might give that a try. I will likely be out at some short courses with a friend of mine as he wants to get a few under his belt this year. Maybe our paths will cross. till later...Caroline
Hi Paula, Rebecca was out at a farm I used to board at back in June and yes she is great. Her ability to capture the essence of the horses personality is a skill and one we can all see she loves. I loved all her pictures that she took and found it very difficult to pick just 2 at this point. Thank you for the compliment about my boy Monty. He is rising 7 and I have had him since he was a weanling. I bought him off of a cattle farmer who brought a truck load of babies in from an Alberta PMU farm. He was about 4 days off from being shipped to Kitchener when I found him. I love him dearly, he is such an honest boy and I wouldn't trade him for the world. I have been told that he won't go far or do much, but I don't care. He does basic dressage and has started his flying changes, shoulder in/out, leg yeilds, jumps all sorts of stuff when I am feeling brave and is a super horse to hack out. So why wouldn't I love him. Tell me about yours. We can become keyboard pals :-)
