Hi Barbara,

I can most certainly help you if you wish to bring your mare to the USA. I have some good connections, with agents that arrange these flights, and I know all the steps regarding bloodwork and healthcertificates that need to be done before the horse can fly. I can even help you with the arrangement of transport from the place your mare is stabled, to the airport on the day that she would fly.
I can understand that it seems overwhelming, and it really is not nothing. I was living and breathing it for a while and flew over as a groom many times, with the horses from Amsterdam to LA. It is an amazing experience, that is one thing I can tell you! And just amazing how these horses cope with all of this. I even flew over my own Friesian, that was just under 2 yrs old at the time. I sadly had to sell him, due to circumstances...
If you would wish, I could even arrange for you to fly your own horsie over :)
HOw old is the mare??

Hello Anneke!!
Thanks for the invitation to join your New group! :-)
My "Reality" shopping is pretty limited to here in the USA, but I LOVE "dream shopping" through out the World!!
...aren't there some Incredible horses out there???

Will this group also be a Source for help and information regarding "Shipping" ??

I have friends in the UK who own / drive Friesians which they mostly purchase from a breeder in the Netherlands.
And they offered me a mare
(I would just need to get her from there ... home to me .. here, in Colorado, USA)
And when I was living in Australia, I often thought about bringing my horses from the States, over with me.

Moving horses from one country to another, has Always seemed overwhelming to me!! :-(
