I don't have a Rocky Mountain Horse (or any horse for that matter! I only lease) but they are by FAR my favorite breed!!!! Are they really as amazing as they seem?? :)

Wow Melanie! I only knew Gary when he was at Pleasure Valley. Where did he start first? I first met him when he did a gaited demo north of Uxbridge on Blue Mountain Rd. 2 women owned the place now. Keep talking! Gail.

Hi Sheila How are your babies foing now? Did you ever sell your sorrel Morgan colt out of Omega? Are you planning on any more shows this summer?

Gail well said!!! I know Gary Convery and he is a gentleman and would never sell a horse to someone he did not like horse or person! I am from Ontario originally and remember when Gary set up, failed and set up Pleasure Valley again. I sold him a Pony horse I had from the track 'Dillinger' and am embarrassed to say the horse looked and did better at Pleasure Valley.....I guess everyone horse or person has their perfect niche. I am so happy you got a gaited horse especially a Rocky!

I had the good fortune to meet a man in the uxbridge area of Ontario. That was Gary Convery. He had a trail place called Pleasure Valley and was one of the first people to get interested in the gaited horse. I showed me a tiny 700 lb horse with worts on his nose, big Western Saddle on his back and huge brown eyes. Would you like to ride him Gail? No, I have my own horse already. The rest is history. I have had him 9 years and a kinder and braver horse has not been in my experience. I was taught the method of mutual respect and trust with the horse and that they need a good leader. This Rocky is my life. I am 64 years old and actually rode him with a halter and single rope the other day. They are wonderful. Gail Morse
