Breeding - Irish Sport Horse Flexible now Joint Leader in World Cup Jumping Final
WITH a remarkable performance in this morning’s (Saturday) second leg of the Longines FEI World Cup Final at Las Vegas, the 19 year-old Irish Sport Horse Flexible is now joint leader on a zero penalty score.
Piloted by the USA’s 56 year-old Rich Fellers, the Cruising stallion brought the largely American audience at the Thomas and Mac Centre to its feet with a copybook clear first round, and with a single mistake in the jump-off finished in fourth place overall behind Swiss winner Steve Guerdat and Albfuehren's Paille.
However, with a second place to their credit in the first leg of the final, Fellers and Flexible now share first place in the rankings with Guerdat, before Sunday’s last competition.
