Ever wondered whether you and your horse might enjoy Foxhunting?
The Toronto and North York Hunt is pleased to extend an invitation to you!
Join us in learning about the exhilarating sport of Foxhunting! Forward this post to all your friends!
At this unmounted introduction, you will have your chance to ask questions and learn about:
- The role of the huntsman and hunting the hounds
- How to follow hounds over hunt country jumps and terrain (if you don't jump - the Hilltopping field is for you!)
- How to find and prepare a suitable horse
- The dress, safety, etiquette, and costs involved in Foxhunting
Do you ride Western? No problem! Come to the introduction, join us on a hunt in your Western tack and once you experience the fun, you'll be borrowing an English saddle and riding with us!
When: Sunday, September 30th, 2012
Time: 11:30am - 12:00pm – Welcome and Refreshments
12:00pm - 1:00pm – Introduction to Foxhunting
1:00pm - 1:15pm – Parade of Hounds
1:15pm - 2:30pm – Lunch and Refreshments
