Has anyone watched the new TV show Lie to Me? I really like it! The main character can tell if someone is lying by carefully observing their unconscious facial and body gestures. And then he explains what he saw and what the gestures told him. I find it extremely interesting!

The show seems to unveil a level of communication by observation that many are unaware exists. Similar to the way horses communicate by movements -- tiny and exaggerated movements -- people have the tremendous ability to communicate nonverbally.

It reminds me of Malcolm Gladwell's book, Blink, which also explores nonverbal communication -- in an easy to read way! He explains that facial expressions people use (subconsciously or consciously) to communicate are the same for people around the globe.
