This may be old news to some locals, but I had taken my English saddle to a tack shop and it stayed there for well, the better part of 8 months.  I had been back a few times to lower the price as well as replenish my books that they held on consignment. 

Once I had gone to retrieve it the owner told me he had sent it out with 3 other saddles to let a lady try them and they would be back in a few weeks. Well  when I did go back the place had emptied out and took everything but the phone jacks. So I lost a saddle and the value of 8 books all together.

I tried everything to get a hold of them but nothing.  My loss for sure. But months later I was told that they had a big garage sale at the house getting ride of the rest of their stock.

Who can you trust these days.
