An Anglo-Arab is usually 50% Thoroughbred and 50% Arabian, though you can also register 75% TB/25% Arab and 25% TB/75% Arabian as Anglo-Arab also. They are bred around the world and the French have an emphasis on breeding them.
These horses tend to be taller than the Arabian (not always), with longer legs and neck and plainer, though still breedy head (has some refinement.) They often carry their tails like an Arabian.
My first horse was an Anglo-Arab, he was my angel from heaven. Other Anglo-Arabs can definitely be more hyper. They require a LIGHT hand for best results.
