I have a miniature donkey named Annie - our farm mascot!!! She is 7 years old and we all love her to death. I'm hoping to breed her this year. They are such wonderful babysitters for the young horses after we wean them.
I have a five year old standard donkey named Jake. He is addored by all who meets him super friendly loves his ears scratched, The only thing about him is he refuses to have any part of the having a halter, but he lets me worm him aslong as the wormer is in food, he gets his feet done by the farrier I do have to put him in panels for that, but he gets a big bucket of cookies while his feet get done. he got an absess and let me treat his foot and everything all without a halter. We did try to halter break him once it was a complete mess. so me and him came up with a compromise he even lets me move him from field to field without issue just give him treats. I love my donkey.
