I grew up with horses but went into the USMC after high school and then 45 years of work as a tool & die maker. I decided it was time to go back to my first love “HORSES” . I have a 4 year old quarter-horse the is solid white with two blue eyes that is simplify beautiful. I also have a walking horse yearling. Love both of them. There has been a lot of changes of how horses are trained in the past 50 years and all of it is good. My father used a modified version of natural horseman ship years ago and taught us to learn and respect the horse.
(Update 5-23-2011) I now have 4 TWH's Love all of them.
Thanks
George

Hi George, Thanks for accepting my friend request. I'm going to be moving to Jamestown pretty soon so I was reaching out to all the barnmice people in hopes of making some friends. I have two horses: a 21 yo TWH and an 8 yo QH. The TWH was my first horse and I got him when he was 9. I also have two dogs and a cat. I wish I could have a whole farm! Trooper (my TWH) is my dream horse for sure. He did a great job in the parades and the sentiment was always touching. I'll miss being involved in the parades. I'm a big volunteer in my current home town so it's going to be quite a change for me when I move out to TN.
