Hi Jo, Snow here today (but in a good way a dusting that looks pretty!). Like you I simply cannot sell any horses either I keep making up excuses that justify why it is not a good tim to sell!! Went to the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Expo at Goffs on Friday. We have loads of interesting info and it was a great day out. Some interesting seminars and plenty of tack and equipment to drool at. just started the sayings thing in a rare idle moment but it would be great to hear different sayings from around the world. How are you doing? Let me know about your horses. Catch you later
good morning from the USA to UK Jo. Thanks for your comment. I cannot scan photos, I just plugged in my camera, and poof, they appear! I own five of the six horses on my site, not the young gray gelding in for training. But the big gray mare, CAli, is pregnant, bred to a young Dutch Stallion, Ampere, so that counts as a bit of an extra horse! They are a mixed bag, not one like the other, I guess that is why they are such good teachers. Each offers me different challenges. Have a great day. Martha
Hi Jo, thanks for getting in touch. Abdullah is the sire of a stallion I used called Chillout who is the only son standing in Europe I think. I will put up a pic of Chillout I am between two computers at the moment so stuff is everywhere. The bay in the field is Galoubet the famous french horse and the bay foal in the field is Summer his granddaughter so I have high hopes for her! Her sire is Castlelawn Galloway a Galoubet son and he is shown showjumping in one picture and his dad in another. I love to have a pictorial family tree of foals I have bred (because I am a horse geek) but it is also great to show people if you are selling (not that I often do). Stay in touch and we can be breeding horse geeks together
