A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
We are preservation breeders of Al Khamsa Arabians, specifically, the Straight Davenport Arabian Horse. Homer Davenport imported 27 of these horses from the desert in 1906 and there are perhaps only 700 remaining in the world, as only 16 of these horses bred on. There are perhaps only two or three owners of Davenport Arabians in Canada; we have the largest breeding group here in the Okanagan Valley of beautiful British Columbia.
