Mirrabook-Rafter 5 Warmbloods is a warmblood breeding and training facility, located in the interior of Bristish Columbia,
in Knutsford, just outside of Kamloops. Our breeding program offers a good selection of Licensed & Approved warmblood breeding stallions of Dutch, Hanoverian, Westfalen, Rheinlander and Thoroughbred lineage. We offer sales of young prospects for Dressage, Eventing, Hunters or Jumpers.
Hi Marilyn, All is pretty much the same , love your new foals. We only bred a handful of foals last year and only expecting one this year..Even though we are in winter the weather is great , cool evenings and glorious days..Business is flat out to the stage I am using another barn 10 minutes down the road for all the breakers..
Dear Marilyn, good to hear from you! I met the BC chapter president at the OKBreeders Stallion Show case in Armstrong, where we presented Platinum and a mare and yearling colt for sale (if you know somebody for this super quality youngster $ 9000, financing possible, 20% commission. I have no buddy for him. He'll reach 16.3, is a super mover, trailered, shown in hand, A1 conformation and character. Platinum-Martini-Donaufuerst bred).
I really would like to get involved in the local Warmblood scene. Next year I want to breed Platinum's 2 1/2 black halfsister (by Guy Laroche-Michelangelo, out of Palma Nigra by Habicht) to a top BC Warmblood stallion, preferably Holstein or Dutch Warmblood.Any suggestion? If it works well, I would breed her every year with Warmbloods other than Trakehner.
We have Platy and 5 broodmares here in South Okanagan near Osoyoos. Last weekend Platy won Reserve Champion 1st level (gold) at Kelowna Spring Dressage under 17 y.o. Ashley Walton-Bose from Oliver. Next show is Salmon Arm, there at 2nd level. I think, touch of Class in Fort Langley follows. We got ourselves a truck camper to stay at the show grounds. Where will we see you? I have to look up you address to see, if you are close enough to a showground to visit you.
How are things at your place? Because of the move last year and construction here, we lost a bit touch with the horse scene. Days did have not enough hour to keep up! Hope it will all settle a bit by the end of this year...Love, Connie.
Its ok, I don't need it. I was just wondering because everyone that I have talked to says that Camino was so hansome!!! Anyway, Thanx!!!( i am really exited to breed Kamber!!!!!!!)
Hello! I was on your website a while ago and found some older pictures of some of your previous foals. I own a warmblood named Kamber Park. It is my understanding that Mirrabrook Farms owned her first foal, Camino (by Tramino)??We are planning to breed her is coming spring, and I was just wonder about the foal. What was he like?temperment? Just couious!!! Thanx!!!
Thanks for the mentioning the site to me. I don't know my way around yet, but hopefully I will learn to navigate it so I can benifit from all it has to offer.

Hi Marilyn,
Have you heard how the CWHBA Ontario Foal Futurities went? I was at the Royal Winter Fair in Ontario, and couldn't go. I wanted to take Tiramasu. But as it turned out, I was away, and she was also sold to a woman in New Brunswick, with a great hunter/jumper stable. She left this weekend. I already miss her terribly. Tira is such a kind, friendly foal. Tramino throws nice foals!
