Love the empty chair. And the ancient art is a nice touch as well. Very peaceful. Definitely good for imagining nice thoughts.

Thats a great question Barbara!
Try and recall when you worry or imagine yourself doing something wrong. If you are like most people these fantasies occur while you are doing the regular activities of the day. Eating lunch, walking on the street, etc. During these times we fantasize about everything, almost as if it becomes one big smudge of ideas.
To retrain the mind, we have to take time out of our day, relax, consciously sit down, close our eyes and then create the movie that we want to imagine in our minds. This is a conscious effort, not a quick fix. Then, as we create the movie that we want to live, we can write the script with clarity and control. The act of doing this, strongly and not superficially, will create the brain tracks for building up confidence and teaching our muscles what it feels like to achieve our goals. This will help us overcome the patterns of fear and doubt that we have previously established, and replace these with a sense of achievement. Remember, to our brain and muscle memory, all our achievements whether physical or imagined are real. Therefore the more positive movies we create in our head, the more old negative movies of fear and worry will eventually disapear. It takes time and practice, but it is well worth it. Let me know. Thank you for your great advice! Sometimes it is hard to imagine yourself doing something correctly when you are worried or when have repeatedly done something the wrong way for a while. Any suggestions for changing that "movie" in your mind?
