Steffen Peters and Ian Francis swap their horses and give a demonstrations of their western and dressage riding skills at the Equitana event in Melbourne, Australia. Fun dialogue between the two!

I sort of got the feeling that Mr. Peters' horse was not as "over-trained" as Anky's horse.
Did you notice that when Mr. Peters went to full collection that the horse offered the old-style croupade kick? It can be hard to rapidly lighten your aids on an "over-trained" horse. I also notice that at the beginning that Mr. Peters successfully asked the horse to raise its head by widening his hands, though I did not notice this as much later in the ride.
Anky did not seem to have problems with the reining horse, though she did an abrupt halt rather than a sliding halt. The horse did not seemed to be bothered by Anky at all.
It sure looked like fun!
Mr. Peters definitly sits a better western seat than Anky.
Great video............they were having fun
