thanks, he is pretty unique that way. i read about Chief Joseph's (nez perce) top racing horse named Ebenezer - who was a red roan with blood red spots/blanket... so i joke that Spring is a direct decendant - i have never seen another like him - thanks for your comment.

Sinbad is a male african lion - he was about 3 months old in the photo, now he is about 10 months old and MUCH bigger. When he is full grown at about 3 years...he will weigh about 600 lbs. You can see more of Sinbad and more of our animals at www.fercos.com. In some of the photos he is called Simba...that "baby" name doesn't fit him anymore, so now he is Sinbad II after his father.

Thank you - already feel welcome. Ha-ha, yes I "uderstand" that, but have not experienced it yet. I should have said, "stuggling - pre-pre-pre dressage rider". Smile. My guy is 4,1/2. 16.2hh warmblood. Lovely guy that really wants to work for you. Love your site!
  • Kathi

Hi there. The quail is a White Pharoah Quail. They are usually raised as an entree for restaurants, and somehow "Ali" was displaced and we took him in. He is a sweet bird that loves millet seeds and apples.
The chickens get along well with my 3 barn cats. In fact one of the cats will stroll amongst the chickens and they enjoy pecking at her tail. :)
