I'm a 23 year old girl from Norway. I owned a Fjord horse called Linda, but she passed away in October -09. She was my world and I miss her so much. Now I work with a monster of a pony called Tanum Stjerna but her barn name is "the pony". She is fun, horrible, great, needy, bitchy and well she makes me want to tear my hair out, but she's so cute when she wants to be. Together with the 4yearold Bruvin we play around and have fun.
Hi Hannah, your horse is gorgeous!! I am in Canada and have never ridden - or even seen a horse like that in person! What types of things do you do with her?
Yes I am one and the same, but I don't like to ask people research questions as me, in case they think I am getting to personal! :)
Sorry to hear about the laminitis, but glad your girl is on the mend. That can really be touch and go. Would love to see more pictures - and of course would love to meet more people from Norway on the site. I think you are the first member from there, so hopefully some of your friends will join too! I was laughing when I looked at your photos, because some of the shots could be Canada. We have had a ridiculous amount of snow. If you look at my photos, you will see one from last winter and this year the snow just keeps on coming!
I have visited the site, but couldn't understand a word! Yes, please do feel free to upload videos - you can add them from YouTube or directly from your own computer. Do you write blogs as well? I'm certain everyone would be interested in hearing about riding life in Norway. It is one of the places I hope to visit one day. Everyone says the scenery is beautiful!
I'm not sure, it's just, well it's ahrd to explain. Like i said before, They are just so graceful. ;)! It's just, um, just the love you and your horse. I....all the photo's just show how much you and your horse love each other! =D!
Hannah, A big tearful hug from the States. It's so hard but you'll know it's the right time and right thing to do for your special friend. thank you for posting the lovely pictures of Linda, Fjoerdinga are so kind!
Hi, wow a Norwegian here *laughing*
Your Fjord horse is supersuper-cute :-)
My daughter has a Fjord mare to and she is the sweetest thing on earth....well....next after my hores of course LOL
Hey! Thanks for your comment. I know exactly what you mean!! lol it was nice of you to comment on my friend's page as well. :) Glad your shoulder's going to be okay too. Haha thanks, I love that boy, and grays are awesome. Only thing is,they're incredibly hard to keep clean!
The only thing I could come up with is to start all over from the beginning. It won't take anywhere as long to get back to where you were before the mess up, and it really won't hurt to re-introduce all the driving groundwork before trying to re-introduce your pulling training gear.
The helicopters? Is there anything you can think of that will make that "WHOMP, WHOMP sound? (Check your local amateur drama department, they often have to make weird sounds.) That way you would not have to borrow a helicopter!
Oh, I know!! lol Treasure loves to sleep in his poop and gets sooo dirty. Good thing he tolerates long baths. :P Do you just have the one Fjord now? Okay, I haven't had too many problems besides the one, but I will certainly keep those ideas in mind.
Kind of... wrong horse! Lost my confidence! lol! I had bad xperiences on him before. But he was surprisingly good! He only didn't jump 'cos I was nervous and he didn't know what 2 do with a nervous rider on his back! He was a good boy! I don't know if u can watch ur own videos, but after you have watched the video of bruvin a bunch of other videos come 2 choice and I just watch them! I don't blame u 4 getting confused so quick, internet is not the easiest thing 2 xplain on! LOL!

Can't remember! :( Not the best with names! lol! A little in common! Ha ha! Try watching the film of Bruvin! (I don't think it is urs, it might be sum1 elses 'cos da video isn't on ur page!)
My bad!
Thank you for telling us about Norway's birthday. I am afraid I do not know much about Norway's modern history, most of us in the US don't tend to, one of our least endearing traits, I know.
It is so good to celebrate our countries, I wish the USA's day was not in the middle of the hottest part of the year so I could enjoy it more, we tend to have parades, rides, and most important--fireworks, we Americans LOVE fireworks on July 4.
I hope the mare is healing well and you are getting over that unfortunate incident. It can get real scary sometimes, but the horses are worth it.
