Cool pics! :) I went riding 2day and now my legs ache because I rode 40 minutes walk, trot and canter with no stirrups!!! :) I also took sum pics of Mo's leg. Check the stages, it's a GINORMOUS improvement! :)

I'm at my grandparents' farm so I won't be able to talk much...

My sister and parents are coming over on Wed and my cousin/ uncle/ friend (don't know how it works don't ask! He's the same age as I am and he's my uncle!!!) is also coming with his parents, but I don't know when. I wonder if he can ride... I'll post sum pics of x-mas day and a few others. Family shots, animal shots, etc... :)

The grey mare is an andalusian and the chesnut is a andalusian/morgan cross.  Their names are Solara de los Encantada and Monte Brio, aka Solara and Brio

I was thinking of getting out of horses when he was born, so his name is GrayD otto be dun (I should quit horses)

GrayD (play on my name) otto (his sire's name) dun (his color)

Yeah right! I am no where near ready for getting out -LOL

No limping, whatsoever! :) Jumping getting better!!! :) YAY! :)

U know I told u he scraped his leg so it got worse again? Well, it took him 15 days to recover because of the Bemer! :) Nikki said with a "scrape" like that it would take the average horse about 1-3 months to heal!!! Pretty amazing, huh!? :) :) :)

Parents good, sister good, me and Mo fantabulous (except for home work, first year of high school! Hectic dude!!! lol! :] ) dogs, cats, guineas, bunny, hammy, bird and fish good! :) JJ is really big now! I'm gonna add new pics soon! Keep a look out! :) Went riding today in the wind but Mo was good. Might ride tomorrow!!! :) YAY! XD

I wanted to tell you I jumped Mowgli over a really hard "line" of a bounce, a big upright, and a HUUUUGE spread! It was my and his first time jumping 90 cm! :) I'm so happy! And he did soooooooooo well! :) ;) :)

Shame! lol! The first time I was kicked was when I was 4. I was kicked in the stomach by the little "grey" (white) shetland, Snowflake/ Stinky on the farm...

The farm and the horses are doing great! :) Well, last time I checked with my grandpa since I don't live there... :( Oh well! :)

Phali (Bucephalus) the one new horse, got ridden up the mountain quite recently and he was pretty good! :)

Mozambique is still in Africa but out of South Africa, and don't know exactly where.

It's really nice there and the water is soo warm!!! It's wonderful there! =)

I'll post pics of it soon :) Wen I have the time, goin 2 skwl on Tues! =P The water is so clear it's like a swimming pool! :D You can see everything! I went snorkeling at a reef and there was 20m visibility! U culd c everything! It was so cool! :)

But my mom got stung in the face by a jelly! lol :P Shame!

Me and Mo are just fine :) I'm sure he was happy wen I came bak from Mozambique :) The other day we jumped an 80 and 90 cm training course!!! It was soooo fun!!! =D I'm really proud of him =) And his leg is so much better!!! =D

Awesum! 4 sum reason, I have a feeling u'd do well wit Filou... =)

We did awesum!!! 4rth in our first dressage ever, first in 60cm course and 3rd in 70cm jump off! =) I was so happy! :)

The pic was taken a couple of years ago. I'm with my granddaughter, age then 4, who is riding a pony called Ginger. The pony didn't belong to me so I'm not sure of the breeding but he does hold resemblance to your Filou. We now have a small Welsh pony mare called Venus. She is sweet but I think my granddaughter might outgrow her too soon and it's so difficult to find a good pony at a reasonable price. I'm glad to read that you are learning Dressage. That's what I ride on my big 17+h Hanoverian. It's lots of work but soo...much fun.

I agree with you that dressage is a lot of hard work and you never learn it all, no matter how long you have been riding. However, the fun is in the journey. My big chestnut's name is Loewenhart which means Lion Heart in German. He is true to his name. He is a very brave and honest horse.  I've had him since he was 2 years old and I was the first person on his back. He is now 16 years, so we are long-time buddies. You can tell that he is very special to me. I guess all of our horses are.
