    Welcome to Barnmice Nicole!

    Boy, married to a farrier!  I had to learn how to trim my own horses' hooves decades ago, just trimming, not shoeing.  I hope he keeps your horse trimmed regularly.

    Hi Jackie,

    We have Thoroughbreds. My husband has racehorses, and I used to do the whole H/J thing, but have switched to Dressage. Yes the horse in my profile pic is my riding horse. She raced till last September at age 7, and has been on turn out since. I will be starting her in the spring once all the snow is melted and my arena is not muddy.  How about you?  Do you have horses? What type of riding do you do?
