Hi Donna, had to leave another comment after looking at your profile.  Morgans (I've got my first one, and I LOVE him!).  I grew up in Toronto in North York and moved to FL in 1987, I now reside in WI.  But I thought it was just to funny that we both have these parallels:)  Take care!

Hi Donna,  are you in Canada if so which province?  I have 5 morgan geldings which are my babies. As I get older they get older too but 3 are going to out live me, I do my best to get people to come and ride them during the "no snow" days.  I am a CHA riding instructor E/W Level 1 so spend a lot of time teaching beginners and their families, my guys are wonderful for that.  I miss having the foals around but the breeding end wasn't working out for us after 24 years of it.  No buyers, bottom fell out of the horse industry and the economy went for a loop so we decided just to provide good working western morgans for the public and myself to ride.

I came across your page , and if you would like to try something different with your horse or any member of your stable I wanted to introduce myself and my hobby. My name is Gary Glaser and I am the mounted commander of the 9th New York Cavalry and live in Binbrook, Ont. I belong to a group of equine enthusiasts that enjoy living historians and American civil war, we are the 9th NY cavalry. As a group, we participate in living history encampments, re-enactments, and giving informative lectures throughout the year in both Ontario and the U.S. Visit use on the web atwww.9thnycavalry.com .

I would like to forward you 2 you tube sites dealing with Civil War re enacting, , the first is well put together, and it is from this past year at a large event in Gettysburg, unfortunately none of our members were at this event, but do know a large number of the riders. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBCgFdTWLx4 The second one is a smaller event held at Upper Canada village, the 9th was the mounted cav. at this event, and this would be a typical small event .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCx3Xkn9Wuc If you have any one in your stable that would interest in becoming involved in our group , do not hesitate to contact me at sgtgaryglaser@hotmail.com . We are not a stable and are not associated with any stable. We are a not for profit group. Thank You Gary Glaser
