Not much to tell really. :) I live on a small property about 50 kms north of Melbourne and currently own approx. 25 horses - Arabians & Thoroughbreds for the most part.
My Arabian program aims to breed well conformed, sane, athletic Arabians suitable for endurance competition and I hope to be back riding in that field soon. Thoroughbred racing is my other interest and I breed the horses I race.
As the owner of a (very) small stud (3 stallions) I do all of the usual stuff - covering mares, foaling them down, handling / training foals & youngsters prior to their being broken to saddle then doing the pre-training /slow work before their 'real' work begins.

Do you have any pets?
2 dogs (a kelpie & a Rhodesian Ridgeback) 1 Abby cat, sundry chickens (bantams & full-size) and one slightly manic / VERY funny rooster
That said I better get weaving ... that new stallion has had sufficient time to reconsider the 'answer' he gave me this morning when I went to put a rug on him. LOL I'm afraid I don't argue if a horse won't stand still while I put a rug on I figure he can go without until he gets the message. :) They usually work it out pretty quickly. I'm guessing his previous owner wasn't used to handling stallions but was used to spoiling her horses ... not a good combination.
Yeah as far as the anti-arab comments a good friend of mine said once that most people who don't like arabs have been outsmarted by one...and I tend to think that's true! And I'm learning that my TB mare is very similar.
Good luck getting that rug on that stallion...I'm with you...it's my way or the highway with my horses...I'm not mean, but I don't spoil them either. I demand nothing less than respect and they get it from me as well.
