Five Stars Farm in Brentwood, NH presents a Symposium with Linda Zang, August 30th and 31st. She is currently one of four "O" FEI Judges in this country, and 20 in the world. Linda Zang of Idlewilde Farm in Davidsonville, Maryland, has represented the United States as a dressage competitor at the 1978 World Championships, the 1979 Pan American Games, and the 1980 Alternate Olympics at Goodwood, England. She has been an FEI Judge since 1985 and judged the Dressage event at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Linda has judged 6 World Cup Finals, 32 World Cup Qualifiers, and 8 World Cup League Finals. She is currently Vice President of the International Dressage Judge's Club.
The Symposium will run for 2 days, schedule to be posted online soon. Auditors are welcome, you may register by e-mailing happydresshorse@aol.com or calling (603)686-0189. Auditing is $20.00 a day for those who pre-register, or $25.00 a day at the door. Beverages and snacks will be available.
Linda likes to really engage her audience while teaching, which makes for a fun but enriching learning experience. She is a huge resource on what judges are looking for, and where dressage in the U.S. is heading.
