Event Description

Classical equitation does not mean just dressage, it means any kind of riding including jumping and cross country. It is a way of givng aids that works because of the release not the force. The horse and rider are encouraged and shown how to work in balance and harmony with one another, instead of using resistance and opposition. Once you can get out of the horse's way and ride in total relaxation, your aids become zero and the movement is natural and beautiful. The aids are a language of touch, which becomes lighter as you both understand and build your communication though feel.
